Is short term letting allowed in a sectional title scheme?

It depends on the rules of the scheme.

What is short term letting? According to Google (as this is not defined in the Sectional Title legislation) short term letting is letting for a period of 6 months or less.
What I would suggest for schemes making rules ito short term letting is that they include in the rules their definition of short term letting.
It is also important to check the Council bylaws for the scheme. Air BnB for instance can be classified as running a business and the schemes are generally zoned for residential purposes only. So even if the scheme rules do not prohibit short term letting the Council bylaws may do so.
